The West Sacramento Rotary Foundation:
An Investment in our Future
The purpose of the West Sacramento Rotary Foundation is to create an endowment for the future of our community with an emphasis on funding educational opportunities for local students in need. This past year West Sacramento Rotary Foundation funded seven scholarships for local college bound seniors from
River City High School and Delta High School. For information on making a donation or for information on available scholarships, contact the Youth Services Chair, Tim Carnahan.
West Sacramento Rotary members also support the International Rotary Foundation, which has a mission of promoting world peace and understanding through local, national and international educational, cultural and humanitarian efforts. Members who contribute $1000 or more earn the coveted distinction of being a Paul Harris Fellow, named for Rotary's philanthropic founder.
